Has anyone noticed that the night time slowly bleeds into the day? I mean that concept is beautiful. As if it is saying time waits for no one but memories still remain.

Im a Saudi and this video reminds me of my Singaporean and Malaysian roommates and friends from the states. The good memories are what I keep. They are the family that I always wished for kind, honest, hardworking, and full of empathy. The songs we used to listen to when we are gathered in the living room or in the long road trips are memories I’ll treasure for my life. The first time i listened to Jay Chou , ate Laksa and Char Kew Tiew was with them. Now when I’m very far I remember the nostalgic moments whenever I listen to Jay.

As a Chinese American, I just wanna thank you for bringing back these memories to me. I grew up listening to some of these songs from my parents, but never were really able to fully understand them nor be able to connect them. so when i think back to these songs i try so hard to find them but i cant, until now. I literally cried watching this, remembering all those school memories, and the friends we all lost in the business of life.

I really love all the old Chinese songs. I find it sad how most kids these days won't really know or appreciate old Chinese songs and I think it's so sad because honestly Chinese songs have a particular thing about them that you won't feel when you hear English/Korean songs etc... tune and lyrics are nice, lyrics is really really meaningful. The best thing is singing them with your friends, the feeling is truly indescribable :) (okay this is getting really long winded but I also feel that Chinese songs are the type of songs you hear when you are sad bc it's relatable asf and will usually put you to tears and that feeling is the best too. (: )

Wow, thank you so much for distilling my childhood down into a beautiful medley. What a nostalgic walk back to a time when a 7th-grade me listened to burned CDs on my green players, listening to these songs on repeat and daydreaming.

The first time I watched this MV was through my mom's phone and how time flies. I'm not sure if I'm emotional because of the music, the nostalgia or just everything. Life as a kid really was carefree. No big responsibility and just vibing to Cpop hits at the time with my cousins. I miss those times

I am an Indian and had never heared any of the songs before, but the concept reminded me of my three friends, with them i used to always sing several songs.....now we are seperated for studies but we still are in contact.....miss those old days.

I remember singing the 情非得已 with my grade 6 friend on the last day of school. I still miss them a lot my Chinese teacher says that always remember each other. Right now, I am living in another country, miss them a lot. I think I can't have that moment anymore, since my middle school friends are one of the best people in my life.

As i watch this video again, I am amazed by the natural sky darkening effects on the awesome medley production between 1:23 till the end of the video.
